New to yoga? Or maybe you're not sure which style is the right one for you? Or just looking to recharge?
It doesn’t matter whether you are completely new to yoga or whether you have some experience already, this week will give you all the basics you need in order to keep up a home practice afterwards.
You will take with you basic tools on how to slow down, relax, focus and cleanse all by yourself with just a few practices.
You will not only learn the basic Asanas (yogic postures), Pranayamas (breathing techniques) and meditations (concentration techniques) but also how to sequence them at home and how they affect your organs, meridians (Chinese energy lines ) and chakras (Yogic energetic centers in your body).
If you feel like you could need an escape from your daily routine, to disconnect and recharge your batteries, this retreat might be just right for you.
We will spend one week together at Off The Grid, a beautiful finca (typical Spanish country house), privately owned and ecologically managed family home, set in the midst of the Península de Llevant Natural Park in the northeast of the island (Artá). It is the perfect place to disconnect, get back to the basics and enjoy the simplicity of living in tune with nature.
We will have two daily yoga sessions (including Pranayama and meditation), two delicious freshly cooked healthy and mostly organic vegan meals a day (brunch and dinner), a little super snack in the afternoon, water and tea throughout the day. We will also be hosting two amazing workshops: one on Acroyoga and one on Thai Massage. Both arts are very fun and playful ways to connect and develop trust, balance and awareness.
In your free time you can either rest at the natural swimming pool, relax on one of the shady terraces reading a book, journaling or maybe practicing meditation. Or you might want to hike in the natural park, walk down to the hidden beach (takes about 80 minutes), indulge in a massage, take a trip to one of the island’s magic spots or maybe go for some water sports? It’s up to you to enjoy this week to the fullest.
To disconnect from the outside world and start to reconnect again with our inside, we will spend our mornings up to brunch time in silence (of course cues will be given in yoga class and you can address us with concerns).
Most of the finca is digital free, there are only a few spots where digital devices can be used and where there will be connection (no WIFI available) and we will make sure to have a few silent corners so that you can fully concentrate on journalling for example. And of course there will be time and space to share your life and stories with your new-found yoga family around extended meals and in our social gathering zone or maybe on shared hikes.

Transport from and to the airport can be arranged for a small extra fee. Arrival time: 3pm Sunday the 21st, and time to continue the journey home: 12am Saturday the 27th.
